  • Private Sales

Over the past years, private sales have become one of the most transformative forces in an unprecedented, fast-evolving art market. Zeit Contemporary Art has assisted numerous clients in securing and selling major artworks by leading artists with rigorous discretion.

Our private sales service provides art collectors with an integral approach to acquire and sell artworks outside of traditional secondary market channels such as public auctions, art fairs, and gallery exhibitions. The growth and success of our white glove approach to private sales resides in four pillars:

    •  Discreet transactions in highly competitive markets, where certain artworks rarely become available.

    •  Confidential acquisitions with no public purchase price, which significantly increases the appreciation potential of the purchased artwork as an investment asset.

    •  Agility to swiftly complete the process once we have identified the perfect match for each client.

    •  Meticulous due diligence on the artworks and the parties involved in the transaction.

  • Advisory

    Advisory

Zeit Contemporary Art offers boutique advisory services in the primary and secondary markets. Our experience working with a diverse range of artists’ markets and our world-wide network of professional contacts with galleries and auction houses afford us a unique perspective to work with collectors in acquiring and deaccessioning artworks.

Our team is delighted to provide counsel on auction purchases, brokerage, and negotiation on all aspects involved on sales and acquisitions, as well as discreet bidding at auction on behalf of clients.

  • Curatorial

Our curatorial team provides bespoke and comprehensive services in the design, planning, and management of private and corporate collections of modern and contemporary art. From art historical research to day-to-day services oriented to meet the needs of small, medium, and large-scale collections, including installation, shipping, insurance, storage, photography, cataloguing, and conservation.

Previous comprehensive curatorial services range from art historical and market research in the initial phase of the planning of a collection to furthering our client’s relationships with museums and curatorial departments in public and private institutions. Our team can assist with strategic gift planning, loan agreements for temporary exhibitions, and the placement of significant artworks as long term-loans in museum collections with the goal of benefiting communities and enhancing the legacy of artists still underrepresented in prominent institutions.
